Josh Marshall--Good Read on "What To Do with ISIS."

++Marshall acknowledges the role the United States had in creating the conditions in which ISIS has flourished but he argues that ISIS now poses a threat to our allies and has expanded its  activities just as its territory has gotten restricted. He also argues against a large scale invasion.

++In the early morning the United States attacked ISIS' oil tankers promoting the Donald to say "See,I told you."

++Marshall says that Juan Cole, writing in the Nation, has policy prescriptions that make sense. Cole, aware of Assad's murderous regime, argues that the enemies have to be dealt with one at a time. He says that the international community must first go against Daesh before it can deal with the other Syrian problems.

++David Atkins in the Washington Monthly this weekend argued that the Left has to step up to the plate and not seem so pacifistic as it has been because it will lose the argument much like it lost the argument in the Iraq War to American public opinion. He wrote that the Left can't seem isolationist.
