President Obama Addresses The Nation On The Climate Agreement.

++Let me say right out of true box true Paris agreement is the last thing I wanted from this administration. He can go home now, except not. He settled the Indian Law Case,he instituted ACA, which benefits all of us but added about 18 million to health insurance,he passed the stimulus package that got us out of the Depression,he signed Dodd-Frank,which reformed Wall Street as much as it could be reformed. He has created more national parks than any other President alive. He appointed two very good Supreme Court Justices. This is the crowning achievement.

++In effect, this is the global stimulus package which will create hundreds of new industries and millions of jobs for a sustainable future.

++President Obama called it the most ambitious climate agreement in history. It is 200 countries sending a signal to the world and the world's markets that we are committed as a Planet to a non-Carbon future.

++He said the agreement was not the solution to the problem but provided the framework ,the architecture for solving the problem.He said it would unleash massive investment into alternative energy, clean water and other projects. I quoted the $17 trillion figure of the Clean Climate Investment Committee and the over $1 trillion our banks have committed to a conservative friend of mine, Why would they do that? Well,wait for the next series of Citicard commercials? Unfortunately climate change has become marketized. 

++President Obama said it was the best chance we have to save our only planet. He called it a "turning point" where we will leave our children and grandchildren a future of cleaner water,a sustainable environment, and prosperity."

++President Obama did his annoying habit of saying no agreement is perfect and that we have to monitor countries' behaviors. He said there will be setbacks but that this will yield a better future.

++President Obama has bet big on the future not only with this agreement but also with the Iran nuclear agreement. He feels that the demographics of Iran point to a more open and pluralistic system in a few years. He knows that this agreement is based on a new paradigm for our future economy. Go Big or Go Home!

++One can quarrel with the man about the nature of man's goodness or not but you can't argue with his commitment to the future. 

++Again a stunning achievement, which would not have been possible with President Obama's global leadership.
++ Now so you want to go back to the Republicans whose world consists of non-functioning states and obsolete energy policies? Yuck!
