The EPA Keystone XL Pipeline

++The EPA was asked to submit comments to the State Department's report on the Keystone XL Pipeline. 

++Their conclusion is amazing. The EPA reports that with the energy needed to produce tar sands over the 50-year life of the pipeline, 1.3 billion more Tons--that's 1.3 billion Tons--of greenhouse emissions will be produced==than if the pipeline carried crude oil.

++The Canadian Government's report equivocates and says that no one knows how to measure tarsands oil because it is so different.`

++This doesn't even get into the threats to water supplies.
