Man of the Day

Republican State Senator Randy Hopper of Fond du lac Wisconsin wrote a note to his constituents that he would not be attending their St. Patrick's Day parade because he did not want to put them at "unnecessary risk", referring to recent death threats to Republican Senators who voted for the union-busting bill.

Nice sentiment but recall petitioners found something else out. They went to his house to demonstrate and were greeted outside by his wife. His wife said he no longer lived there anymore but lived in Madison with his 25-year old mistress. The Family Values candidate, it seems, hooked up with a young lobbyist.

His maid--or former maid depending on the state of the future divorce proceedings--signed the recall petition and promised the group the wife will too.

meanwhile Governor Walker told the Republican legislators their days will get better after their vote. It seems unlikely for Randy Hopper--Today's Man of the Day.
