++Jeb Bush said that the war in Iraq was a good deal, In a way it was for defense contractors. And that he would consider torture an option if he became President and repeal President Obama's Executive Order, which prohibits torture by American security and intelligence officers.
++This is what alot of us fear the reversal of President Obama's prohibition against torture. It will be up to foreign governments with their obligation under the Torture Convention to bring Americans to justice in this matter.
++On a similar topic, Glenn Greenwald had an article criticizing President Obama on the closing of Gitmo. Glenn concedes everything Obama supporters maintain that Republicans have prevented him from closing it but raises the real nasty question that President Obama maintains the right to hold these people in cells indefinitely without any charges. Mr. Roth at Human Rights Watch opined about the same thing. Yes,President Obama wants to send them either to a military facility or an Illinois state prison but makes no provisions about whether or not they will be tried.
