Bibi At The United Nations

+Bibi needed another international speech and as an Haaretz writer said,in English.

+Bibi ranted on about how horrible the nuclear deal was and that the United Nations shouldn't congratulate themselves on the deal. He said the major problem--always moving the bottom line--was that billions--I tell you billions will be released to Iran and that they are building terrorist cells in every country, even here in North America. Even though they already have missiles that can reach Israel,he says their intercontinental missiles are meant for America.

+Bibi gave a detailed account of Iranian backed terrorist movements in the region and all the mischief Iran has gotten up to in the six months since the deal.

+He had a 45-second pause of silence to shame the assembly on not doing anything about this.

+He invoked his brother, who actually was a hero at Entebbe, and suggested that he himself had almost been killed, something missing in official records I know of.

+He challenged Abbas on talks about Palestine. Earlier in the week, The Palestinian Authority declared the Oslo Accords dead and that Palestine should be considered an occupied country. Palestine saw its flag raised at the General Assembly meeting.

+Bibi invoked the easy ambassadors to the United Nations but didn't mention Abba Eben. And recounted the history of the Jewish people.

+Bibi actually thanked President Obama for the increased security assistance and claimed he and Obama saw the region the same way. Cough.

+Weirdly I have only seen coverage of the speech in the Washington Post. I guess Bibi's day is done.
