++PPP asked about whether unemployment went up or down under President Obama. 43% said unemployment increased;49% said it decreased.
32% believe the stock market went down.
52% correctly believed it went up--actually almost 10,000 points over George W. Bush.
++Democrats and independents basically got it right.
++But Republicans by a 64 to 27 margin believe unemployment increased under President Obama.
++By a 57 to 21 margin Republicans believe that the market actually went down.
++How do you square the GOP response to reality and this year's election. In none of the debates were GOP candidates pressed on these issues whenever they said the economy was in bad shape.
