BLOCKBUSTER ARTICLES IN THE NEW YORK TIMES AND WASHINGTON POST.

The New York Times reports that the Obama administration squirreled away Intel on the Trump-Russian contacts uncovered during the election and afterwards. The Times reports that Dutch and British intelligence picked up phone conversations between Russian officials talking about Trump people and also conversations between Russian business people close to Putin and the Trump people.

The Obama administration divided up the intelligence so it could be hidden from the incoming administration.

The Washington POst earlier today published a piece that the FBI thought the British former spy who compiled the "Dossier" on Trump and the Russians was so credible that they thought to pay him for further follow-up.

But tonight's blockbuster was that Jeff Sessions met with the Russian ambassador before and after the election. In his confirmation hearing he orally testified to Al Franken's question he didn't know of any contact between the Trump campaign and the Russians , even though he was the head of their security affairs team. In a written questionnaire with Senator Leahy he answered "No" to the question of whether he had met with anyone connected to the Russian government.

It seems to me that committing an act of perjury should make Sessions step down--in older days.
