CHARLES PIERCE'S VIEW

Pierce ponders how Trump sent the conspiracy world into red by his early morning tweets. Pierce actually thinks it was the interview between Andrea Mitchell and Chris Coons that set Trump off. Coons suggested there were transcripts available of these phone calls and that they would reveal the scale of the collaboration between Russia and Trump. It was the suggestion that there were real transcripts around that sent him off on Obama and deflecting the whole issue to a scapegoat.

Mystery writer Stephen King had great fun tweeting that Obama is still in the White House closet and has scissors. And that Obama personally put bugs in Trump Tower while Michelle kept watch on the outside.

Malcolm Nance finds Trump's view of wiretapping funny but he warns he will actually ask how it is really done and want to employ these means on his enemies. Nance says the FBI has their spy hunters on this and that is why Comey has remained mum even to the intelligence committees. I suspect differently but let's hope Nance is right.
