Maxine Waters issued a long statement after the House Intelligence Committee's hearing with James Comey. She said Comey can't be trusted and the Republicans try to deflect the issue to leaks. She proposes either an independent prosecutor or some bipartisan commission.
She wants to know if the FBI started investigating the issue of Russian involvement into Trump's campaign in July,why did Comey not say that at the time when he opined about Hillary's emails? Certainly that was of public concern.
Auntie Maxine has come into her own on this Trump-Russia business. I would also say that Adam Schiff gave a brilliant summary of what we know to date about this issue. He's a comer.
