The noted NYTimes columnist tries his guess at the Trump -Russia connection, he urges Democrats not to get so conspiracy focused like the Right did on Hillary Clinton like having child sex slaves at Comet Pizza in D.C.
Kristof thinks too much is made of Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III and not enough about Paul Manafort and his minions. Fair enough but Beauregard is fun to say and he is a racist albino and committed perjury.
Kristof has a few points. Trump's response to anything relating to Russia is bizarre such as Obama bugging him. We should have an open 9/11 style commission on the issue of Russian interference in the elections and such a commission should look at Trump's tax returns to persuade us he doesn't owe the Russians millions as has been suggested.
The real trick is to get this stuff in the open. If this were a normal administration, they would deserve this but Trump wants to exploit the ambivalent situation.
