Buried in all the Hubbub over the firing of James Comey is that it came as part of a recommendation from the Attorney General at least according to Donald Trump.
The problem with this is that Sessions recused himself both from the Russian investigation and the Clinton e-mail situation. So saying Comey was fired for the Clinton e-mail situation doesn't cut it.
Sessions had committed perjury at his confirmation hearing by neglecting to inform the committee about his own Russian ties.
Now it seems his statement of refusal was also a lie.

Also lost in yesterday's fracas was Eric Holder--who was career at Justice--tweeting to DOJ officials to do their duty repeating the words of their pledge to duty, honor, country.
