Trump threw Rosenstein under the bus by telling Lester Holt that he didn't fire Comey because of Rosenstein's letter. He had decided to fire Comey as a grandstander before. He didn't need the letter.
After the legal community questioning Rosenstein and how he got into this mess. Those who gave him the benefit of a doubt urged to create a Special Prosecutor.
It's Too late. He should resign.
