++After extending negotiations twice ,the negotiators of the TPP seem to have finally agreed to a deal. The biggest fight was over the development of drugs. Australia and the United States went tooth and nail over this issue. The United States sided with the drug companies about the issue of second generation drugs and patent law.
++TPP would then be brought to Congress early next year. The opposition party in Canada, the NDP has said if elected they won't honor it.
++With the climate change agreement expected in December now that India submitted its plan for a drastic reduction in emissions, TPP would close out the Obama Presidency in terms of international deals.
