America, This is the time!

Finally, the time has become right for my idea--The McColm CEO Lottery. With caps finally being put on executive pay, the CEOs at JP Morgan and Chase claim this is "unfair" and will deter them from recruiting new personnel. Now let's stop a minute--Given the fact we know these people know nothing and have been abject failures as executives, why shouldn't the average person become a CEO? For years, I looked at how short a time these people spend in their positions and the size of their golden parachutes. Why not have a lottery--which would raise tax revenues--where the winner becomes the CEO of either a bank or a corporation for a year? This would also generate a populist enthusiasm for Big Business and possibly a series of Reality shows. The time is Now! As Kinky Friedman said when he ran for Governor of Texas,"How hard can it be?"
