++ Garin-Hart-Yang Research Group conducted a poll for the pro-Obama SuperPac , which essentially measured the effect of the anti-Bain ads against Romney. The Washington pundits criticized the Obama campaign for focusing on that but the results seem to have been beneficial.
++The Wall Street Journal added fuel to the fire by printing a piece that showed Bain under Romney's tenure only created 1,300 jobs and not the 100,000 previously claimed. More stories have emerged that Romney may have misled the SEC about when he ceased to be involved with Bain.
++37% of respondents said that Romney's business experience made them less likely to vote for him.
++27% said more likely to vote for him because of his business experience.
++58% said that Romney's priority at Bain was making millions for himself and his investors regardless of the impact on jobs and employees.
++The poll was conducted in five so-called Swing states and measures for the first time the erosion of support for Romney because of these ads.
++Colorado--Obama 49-42 Romney
Florida --Obama 48-44 Romney
Ohio --Obama 48-41 Romney
Pennsylvania--Obama 49-40 Romney
Virginia --Obama 46-43 Romney
A caveat--both Florida and Pennsylvania have massive voter suppression efforts going on.
++Quinnipiac has Obama 46-43. The difference is interesting. Romney wins married couples, while Obama wins singles. And there is still an enormous gender gap. Romney wins the male vote.
++Reuters/Ipsos has Obama with his largest lead 49-43. Here they found voters had a slightly more optimistic view of the economy.
