Let's See Whether A Republican Adviser Is Right.

++Frank Luntz says Hillary had a great year. He said she proved her fund-raising prowess, her campaign is disciplined, her ads are snappy and her debates were good but he notes that she made gaffes that will hurt her. He says that her speeches have gotten better and more succinct. But she will lose Iowa and New Hampshire.

++Bill Clinton enters the fray in New Hampshire on Monday. Democratic advisers recommend he not response to Donald's raising the Monica Lewinsky episode. But Luntz believes he should because both candidates attacking each other will benefit both campaigns. He notes that during Clinton's impeachment that Hillary standing up for her husband gained her considerable support from the American people, who sympathized with her plight.

++The upside of using Bill Clinton is that he is the most popular former President and politician who is remembered for a boom economy that created over 22 million jobs. In fact, Silicon Valley is salivating over another Clinton presidency which would unleash the tech sector as never before.

++For my money, it will be a trial balloon how Bill will work with the Hillary campaign. In 2008, it didn't work because he took it all very personally and made some disparaging remarks about Barack Obama that hurt Hillary. But during the last presidential campaign of President obama's, he became the explainer in chief, which helped Obama greatly. Now is the time whether he can repeat that performance.
