My Harvard Professor Helmut Koster Died (1926-2016). He served in the Germany Navy and had been a POW during WWII under the Americans.

++The rumor was that Helmut was a U-Boat captain fro the Nazis. He always complained about the indignity of living in a POW camp. Somehow I couldn't relate. He later studied theology at the University of Marburg and stuied under the great Rudolf Bultmann. I can't complain about his treatment of me as a student but pulling the WWII story out every semester got old real soon.
