JENNIFER RUBIN JUMPS THE SHARK--ADVISES HILLARY ABOUT HOW TO WIN OVER REPUBLICANS

++There has been alot of behind the scenes moaning by Republicans about Trump's nomination. There is even a parallel convention in Cleveland about restoring the Republican party post Trump.

++John Kasich gave a blistering speech at the International Republican Primary about Trump's disastrous foreign policy and pointed out that the platform had deleted portions that were critical of Putin. Kasich wondered aloud how isolationism and protectionism led to a more stable world.

++Jennifer Rubin writes today that Hillary Clinton can reach out to Republicans in a way not to offend her supporters by suggesting bipartisan foreign policy initiatives Republicans can support. She even suggests Hillary complement Bush's initiatives on AIDS and NO CHILD LEFT Behind reminding people Republicans aren't just ogres.

++Washington Post columnists seem to think the hyper-anti-Hillary rhetoric is because the GOP knows it is going to lose and they want to delegitimize her presidency beforehand. I wish this were true.

++It's not just me but the Young Turks can't say how the Convention is being viewed by America. They all agreed it was a miserable show but how does it received at home.
