++The polls are all over the place. Nate Silver has Trump at having a 33% chance of winning. But there are some interesting segments of the recent polls.
++For example, The Field Report out of California shows nothing new about how the Democrats control the state but it is an accurate barometer of how the Latino voters goes nationally. Trump now gets 9%. Wow.
++The Swingstate polls which showed it a tight race,shows Hillary crushing Trump with Catholics and running about even with church-goers.
++In the 2008 campaign, Mark Penn said that the new voting block for Democrats would be white ,college educated suburbanites. Strangely, this year Hillary Clinton leads Trump with this demographic. Believe it or not, the Democrats have never gotten a majority of college-educated white Americans.
++The stunning fact of the two polls on Pennsylvania and Ohio is that Trump got 0% of African-Americans. That simply doesn't happen in polling the two large national parties.
++Readers know my ambivalence about Tom Kaine. Well, he appeared with Hillary and was actually motivated, sharp and was an attack dog against Trump. He looked enthused and maybe his breaking to Spanish was a plus. He had more energy than Sherrod Brown, whom I like. I still don't see Virginia as a Swing State.
