+The Democrats shouldn't spike the football yet. You never know how excited Mark Levin may make the Cooch voters in Virginia. But unlike 2009 when the Dems left Deeds twist in the wind and the Democrats were lackluster, Larry Sabato of Crystal Ball fame has been tweeting interesting news.
+He thinks the turnout will be more like 45% and not the 30% people have predicted for an off-off election year. He says its because of the candidates and the intensity--even if negative of the campaign.
+The Democrats claim 175,000 early voters on November 2, which is 50% of their total in 2009,just on one day. Early voting is 18-20% higher than in 2009. Sabato says McAuliffe has an edge in early voting and absentee votes. Previously, PPP showed McAuliffe banking early votes, which mirror the large leads he has in his best polls.
+Sabato says the Democrats invested in registration, Get out the Vote drives and early voting. He expects the turnout to exceed 2 million.
+Earlier Politico wrote a piece about how the Democrats and their allies are dumping everything in the state.
+The Washington Post has already reported that McAuliffe swamped the Cooch in fund-raising the last few days of the campaign. So much so that the Cooch had to take down television advertising for Northern Virginia.
+McAuliffe is not one's dream candidate but he did win the debates and campaigned efficiently on relevant issues, while the Cooch lurched from one hot button issue to the next to gain traction.
