The House of Horrors

+Little Ricky Cantor is introducing a House Bill "You Can Keep Your Insurance" as a snark against Obamacare. This would allow people with junk insurance to keep it and go bankrupt.

+Pro-House immigration reform Republicans are saying nothing will be done this year and if they can't get something on the floor by January, immigration reform will be dead for the forseeable further. Anti-immigrant Steve King from Iowa has warned Boehner about bringing anything to the floor.

+Rep.Yoho says the House will impeach Eric Holder this year. He would be the first cabinet member to have been impeached since 1875. The overt charge would be on Fast and Furious. But we all know it has to be because Holder is pursuing actions against the Voter I.D. Law in Texas and Florida.

+Over in the Senate, Lindsey Graham is introducing a bill to limit abortions in the United States to 20 weeks. Lindsey Graham is being challenged by tea baggers. But Lindsey wants to make social conservative issues the subject of the 2014 elections.

+Eric Ericson of Red State says the Gay defeated the Cooch. Well, if the Cooch had come out for Sodomy and against Teabagging, he would have come out better.

+Pete Sessions said the only goal of the House now is to see the GOP win the Senate.

+Put a fork in Rand Paul, he's done. After meeting with Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes in New York for the President audition, Paul has had a meltdown over all the plagiarism issues haunting him. Kentucky papers has been scathing about this and the Washington Times dumped his column. He said that he might pack it up and return to Kentucky as a doctor. But then people are now questioning his qualifications for even this. Breibart picked up his column but the damage seems to have been done. He's sounding more like the Quitter, Sarah Palin everyday.

+About 1.4 million Americans will see their unemployment evaporate by January if the budget conference doesn't do anything. Already millions will be without food stamps for the Holidays.

+The US economy surpassed estimates with a 2.8% growth rate for the third quarter. But the government shutdown should affect the last quarter.

+While the Administration has said that healthcare.gov has been experiencing hacker attacks, Arstechnica has a piece today that shows a special software has been created to disrupt the website. It reads like Anonymous for teabaggers as the software proclaims they are acting in civil disobedience to protect Americans from the unconstitutional attacks of Obamacare.

+Texas government officials are warning that Obamacare navigators may be ex-felons or members of ACORN.

+During President Obama's tour of Texas to explain Obamacare, Ted Cruz issued ominous warning that the President should stay out of Texas. It reminds one of those warnings against JFK before his trip to Dallas fifty years ago.

+The Benghazi CIA people will be testifying behind closed doors on the Hill.

+The Senate is warning President Obama that they might block any efforts to lift Iranian sanctions even if a nuclear deal has been reached.

+The Senate looks like it will have passed ENDA this afternoon. It will not see the light of day in the House.

+Illinois Governor Quinn will sign the legislation approving same sex marriage in the Land of Lincoln.

+Hawaii is still debating the issue but observers believe same sex marriage will pass even after the disruptions of the Christianists.
