Willard and the Cooch

++Willard Romney tells 60 Minutes that the whole foundation of Obama's second term will be affected by the President's lying about healthcare.

++The "Cooch" has settled on a theme for his run for Virginia government--it's a referendum on Obamacare. Ben Carson will be on a conference call today reiterating his critique of Obamacare. Mark Levin is campaigning with the Cooch as he brings the Right into Virginia for the final push.

++So you can be assured on another month at least of Obamacare horror stories and belated debunking.

++So back here on Planet Earth, how is Obamacare doing? On the informal website Obamacare signup.com, a group of volunteers have been tabulating the enrollments in the exchanges and the Medicaid expansion people. Their tally today:

Exchanges enrollments: 411,083
Medicaid expansion: 1,108,896
At this time in the process for Romneycare: 0

++Will someone lose out for Obamcare? Ryan Lizza of the New Yorker has an excellent article "Obamacare's Three Percent." But remember the three percent represents alot of people who have media time.

++Andrew Sullivan at the Daily Dish has been writing about his reactions to the "You can keep your plan if you like it." statements of President Obama and the various reactions from readers, who disagree with his feelings that this is the equivalent of Obama's Iraq. David Frum claims he would pay more on the exchanges. Alot of those with "Cadillac" Plans and no subsidy would.

++The big surge of enrollments come from California where the state exchange is now purring.

++Will insurance premiums rise? When have they not? But the average now is about the rate of inflation.

++The big new cry will be the limitation on hospitals because some insurance companies have been separating themselves from certain hospitals. Many were doing this before Obamacare because of local state feuds. But alas, I still can go to Johns Hopkins.
