++Republicans, if they were in their right mind, should wish they never raised all the issues on reproductive rights and contraceptives. In 2010, women were split evenly between Democrats and Republicans but now in 2012 a recent poll by Peter Hart and Bill McInturff show that women running to the Democratic Party has affected the Democrats chances to take the House. Now a 15-pt bulge has increased between those wanting Democrats in control (51%) and Republicans (36%). Driving the poll is the disgust of woman at the war being waged against the uteri by the Republicans. What started as one of the largest gender gaps in polling memory has become a chasm. President Obama needs 53% of the woman vote to be re-elected. He is now enjoying support in the high 60s among women.

++More great news for the GOP,they really have become the party of the old, white guys. CNN reports that white voters have cast over 90% of the ballots in the Republican primaries with the exception of Florida (83%) and Arizona (89%). In many of the primaries, white voters composed 99%. Voters 50 or older cast at least 70% of the ballots in Florida (71%) and Nevada (70%) and at least 60% in Massachusetts (64%), Georgia (64%), Vermont (63%), Tennessee (62%), Oklahoma (62%) South Carolina (61%), Virginia (60%), Iowa (60%) and Michigan (60%). 21% of seniors do not have the photo ID's to vote in the states who recent adopted new Voter I.D. laws. Hung by your own petard, heh?
