Likud Long Knives Come Out For Bibi as His Poll Numbers Drop

++Josh Marshall in an article with the title above helps us read the polls. He agrees that all final polls show the Zionist Union crystallizing their lead. But he points out that smaller parties must meet basic thresholds to gain any seats. Those threatened are Liberman's Party and two religious ones. But for Zionist Union , it is Meretz which looks endangered and that would deprive Herzog of 4 seats for his coalition.

++I advised looking a complete Israeli poll to gain some sense of the diversity in the election. But Josh Marshall shows us how to read them with an eye as to the future coalition-building skills of the two major competitors. He still sees Bibi in a better position to create a governing coalition than Herzog.

++The big headline out of Israel is that the Arab List looks like it will be the third largest party in the country.
