Barack, Don't Go Weak On Us!

+President Obama continues to remain resolute on his trade for Sgt. Bergdahl.

+The Idaho Statesman reports that the Bergdahls are lying low, being astounded by attacks on their son,the father and the whole town of Haley,Idaho.

+The New York Times has the first good piece on Bergdahl's progress in the medical facility in Germany. He had been kept in a cage for weeks after his attempt to escape. He has been without media so he doesn't know anything about the attacks on him and doctors have not begun to question him about how he came to be off his base. Doctors say that he could get a flight home tomorrow but his recovery will be hindered by all the attention he has drawn. He has not spoken to his parents but his sister wrote him a letter. He doesn't accept being called Sergeant because "I never went before the boards."

+Vishnu Jindal, war hero and presidential aspirant, said Obama has a "Catch and Release" policy toward terrorists. It should be remembered that W phased out the Al Qaeda office at the CIA in 2005. Just so you might remember how resolute the last President was in catching Bin Laden.

+Richard Mourdock--the failed Senatorial candidate--said that our economy is in the same shape as Nazi Germany.

+President Obama has hinted he will come out for a constitutional amendment against campaign finances.

+President Obama on his weekly address supported Elizabeth Warren's plan on student loans. This has little chance of success in the Senate.

+Immigration reform is not on the agenda this June in the House.

+The United States is negotiating with Iran this coming week to try and reach a nuclear accord before the July 20th deadline.

+Michelle Obama talked about how Maya Angelou empowered young black girls at the memorial service for the late poet, writer, civil rights activists. Expect the manufactured outrage to hit by Monday.

+Christopher Dickey reports that the old veteran wearing a light blue suit that kept trying to get President Obama's ear actually just wanted to thank him "For not getting us into another war."
