The Upcoming Week and Other Nonsense

++ To get the week off right, the Republican Leadership Conference had its presidential poll. The winner is Ted Cruz with 30%, barely inching out Ben Carson at 29%. Cruz said the government shutdown prepared the way for the GOP in 2014.

++Senator Pryor ripped Rep. Cotton for his votes against disaster relief, which was vital to Arkansas.

++Candy Crowley wanted to know from Susan Rice whether President Obama negotiated with terrorists.

++John Bolton said it was "despicable" that Obama negotiated with terrorists and released five Taliban commanders from Gitmo.

++The New York Times today has an article about the environmental movement and highlights 350.org.

++This week the Palestinians announce a unity government between Al Fatah and Hamas.

++President Obama this week will announce his new EPA regulations on power plants. Expect heads to explode. Already states are trying to get around limitations on carbon pollution. Ohio, for example, is trying to withdrawal the alternative energy goals they already mandated by law. 

++Secretary Hagel announced that the reason the administration didn't inform Congress was because they had to move fast because Sgt.Berghdal's life was endanger. 

++Edward Snowden's recent revelations is that NSA is collecting millions of photos from social media.
