The Cost of War

++Even Ted Cruz rallied his troops today for the fight against radical Islam and accused President Obama of being a physical coward.

++So as Warner Wolf used to say,"Let's look at the videotape." The Young Turks produced today's amazing fact.

++The estimate of what the United States has spent on war since 9/11 is widely thought to be in the range of $5 to 7 trillion, if you include interest, long-term health costs, etc. But the known known as Rummy used to say is $1.6 trillion.

++92% went to the Pentagon,6% went to diplomacy and foreign aid, and 1% to veterans health.

++We spent even now $250,000 per minute of every hour on war. $14 million per hour. $337 million per day.

++And we get more war and our GOP friends are crying for more.

++How about we spend a fraction of it on the humanitarian aid to the people really suffering from terrorism --the displaced and the refugees?

++While I'm ranting, what about the thousands massacred this week in Nigeria by Boko Haram?
