The War Begins Anew

+All the incoming GOP Senators have signed a pledge to abolish food stamps in 2015.

+Good news, however, Nazis will be prohibited from receiving social security.

+Mitch McConnell has promised that the first bill he will introduce will be the Keystone XL Pipeline. Politico ran an energy piece that was a PR blurb for the pipeline even though it admits the economics doom tar sands right now but we should be prepared when the oil prices come up again--which may be in two years.

+A George W. Bush appointed judge in Philadelphia has gratuitously declared President Obama's executive orders on immigration unconstitutional. Like Citizens United the judge cited no precedents for his decision or the relevance of his decision to the case at hand.

+I am sure conservatives will push this to the Supreme Court as they did with the phony Obamacare case, which had been rejected by all full Federal Courts.

+New House GOP members want the next Congress to wage war on the debt ceiling.

+60% of Americans support torture according to the CIA-front the Washington Post,a majority think that it yielded intelligence and 52% were against releasing the Torture Report.

+Millionaire torture Psychologist James Mitchell admitted on FOX News that he water boarded KSM and thereby won a spot on American Idol--why not.

+The press sort of got it wrong that the GITMO trial against KSM was postponed because of the release of the Torture Report. In reality, it was because of DOJ investigation that true defense team consisting of military and civilian lawyers had been infiltrated by the FBI.

+The Washington Post did point out that Dick Cheney--surprise--didn't tell the truth about the US trying the Japanese for water boarding Americans. They did. Ronald Reagan had a Texas police officer tried for water boarding a prisoner. We tried several Americans in the Phillippines conflict for water boarding insurgents. President William Howard Taft said it was the most disgraceful thing he saw in his political life--the torture of true insurgents.

+Jeb Bush has declared he is creating an exploratory committee to prepare to run for the Presidency.

+I would love to run as GOP candidate with a party that wants to eliminate food stamps, health insurance for millions of people, backs torture and endless war. That's the winning platform--these days it might be.

+Douglas Brooks actually wrote a sane column "Elizabeth can win" about the effect Senator Warren has had on the grassroots Democratic voter. He likes her willingness to fight.
