Kilgore Explains Rubio

+Why would you give up a secure Senate seat, when you are young and can wait?

+Ed Kilgore at Washington Monthly explains that it is actually logical. Rubio could gain experience nationally and wait for the second spot on the ticket. He's not threatening and actually posts decent approval numbers versus other GOPers.

+He can kook at a favorable mid-term in 2018 when he could run for Governor of Florida. He has considerable legislative experience and probably could count on Jeb, his now estranged friend.

+Basically he would be unemployed for a year before getting back into the thick of things.

+Contrary to the GOP establishment who saw him as the savior,Rubio probably can not get any non-Cuban Latino votes.

+On another matter, Corker will try and torpedo the Iran deal this week.

+Doug Bandow of the libertarian CATO Institure, has  an excellent op-ed at Huffington Post, which spells out in detail the stakes for such a deal and why America has to go forward and negotiate it.

+Yesterday, Dr.Moniz, our Energy Secretary, has an op-ed in the Washington Post spelling out how the deal prevents Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. He raised the Atari centrifuges and their inefficiency in producing enough enriched uranium for a bomb. For dummies like myself, the op-ed made it quite clear the way the agreement creates a box that makes it difficult to break out of.

+Germany has released another of the nuclear subs Israel has purchased.

+Russia has lift its band on selling iran missiles.

+And so it goes.
