Can Romney Win Without Ohio?

++ No Republican nominee in history has ever won the White House without Ohio? But does that mean it can't be done?

++Since no Republican or Democratic ticket has ever run without a protestant, then maybe Republicans are re-inventing history.

++This is what would have to happen for Romney to win the White House without Ohio. He must win the following states:

Florida--29 electoral votes
Virginia--13 electoral votes
Wisconsin-10 electoral votes
Iowa--6 electoral votes
Colorado--9 electoral votes
Nevada--6 electoral votes

Add them to the states where he looks solid and you get 69 EV added to 206 or 275. I already counted North Carolina as Romney's.

That is why I am mystified at the lack of spending in Wisconsin where it is supposed to be a two point race.
