New Georgia Poll

++SurveyUSA has a new poll out on Georgia that shows David Perdue at 46 to Michelle Nunn at 45.

++Apropos of Georgia, Ed Kilgore at Washington Monthly has opined that the difficulty with polls in states like Georgia is that they can not distinguish registered voters from likely voters because of the demographic changes in the state.

++All polls in a state like Georgia, vastly underestimate the possible turnout of African-Americans and other minorities. This is showing up in places like Wisconsin where recent polls showing Scott Walker in a lead vastly underestimate the minority vote, especially in districts which will be heavily influenced by them.

++So,we will only see how good the Democratic GOTV effort is on election day. But in states like Georgia it will make the difference.
