++The 9th Circuit Court in San Francisco knocked down the bans on same-sex marriage in Idaho and Nevada. In two days,that brings the numbers knocked down to 13.
Bruce McColm was the former executive director of Freedom House, a human rights group in New York,the President of the International Republican Institute and currently is the President of the Institute for Democratic Strategies. In the pre-digital age, his writings appeared in the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Christian Science Monitor, Newsweek and other magazines and journals.
