++ Mark Warner has not dipped below 50% the whole campaign in Virginia. The new Christopher Newport University poll has Warner at 51%,Gillespie at 44%, Sarvis 2% and undecided at 3%.

In the pre-digital age, his writings appeared in the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Christian Science Monitor, Newsweek and other magazines and journals.
