+Andrew Sullivan has been musing over our latest foray into the Middle East morass and provides on a daily basis the variety of reports and opinions on the escapade. The Dish is a must daily read to gauge where we are going and how disappointed Andrew Sullivan is with President Obama going there.
+The Business insider has multiple reports on a daily basis on the military aspects of our Syria-Iraq operation.
+The Daily Beast has on a daily basis why President Obama is wrong from a neoconservative view.
+But if there is one article to read in the past week , it is in today's Washington Post. Andrew Bacevich's "Even if we defeat the Islamic State, we'll still lose the bigger war". As Iraq War III morphs into Greater Middle East Battlefield XIV, Bacevich reminds us of al our past blunders and all the Muslim countries we have invaded, destabilized, and conducted regime change and how they are became failed states that present perpetual problems.
+Bacevich also argues that our current energy environment actually means that we could reduce our footprint in the area. But as he writes, no one in Washington is considering such a thing. He commends President Obama for learning the lessons of occupation but he leaves it to the next President to learn that drones and bombing fail also.
