++John Nichols in the Nation says that 7 Republican governors may be defeated this fall. Naturally, Nichols, the author of "Uprising" about the recall movement in Wisconsin, thinks Scott Walker is in trouble. The basic thesis of his piece is that various states who elected tea-party backed candidates now know what their policies bring. Walker's Wisconsin is the lowest state in job growth in the Midwest and 33th in the country. However, his voter ID law will affect some 330,000 voters, including students and low income voters. The most recent Marquette poll demonstrates Walker leads with most likely voters.
++I am certain Nichols is right about Tom Corbett in Pennsylvania and Sam Brownback in Kansas. I hope he is right about Paul LePage in Maine.
++The last three are running in tight races. Rick Scott in Florida,Nathan Deal in Georgia, and Rick Snyder in Michigan.
++Nichols documents how the Koch Brothers are pouring money into these faltering campaigns.
