Election Day is Ladies' Day

+Women are 51% of the population but 53% of the electorate. After two years of the GOP's war against women, where does anyone expect the woman vote to go? The Obama campaign has been targeting ads to working women throughout the swing states on television shows where women are the primary audience. The Swing State polls show this with the Gender Chasm playing the key difference.

+This morning's Quinnipiac Poll just solidifies the notion that women are putting President Obama over the top.  Obama leads Romney 49-45 nationwide. Among women voters it is Obama 56 to 38 for Romney. Among African Americans Obama has 94 to 2.

+White men back Romney 52 to 42. Whites back Romney 53 to 42, but Obama is very close to his 43 record in 2008. This was close to John Kerry's white vote in 2004. But this couldn't happen without the large woman vote.

+On the question whether President Obama cares about your problems, it is 60 to 38. On whether Romney, he doesn't care by a 51 to 46 margin.

+On the economy, President Obama has a 48 to 47 lead. But on healthcare it is overwhelming. On international affairs, President Obama has a 52 to 43 lead.

+Moreover 83% of Americans say that whatever happens in the debate won't affect their vote. The majority believe Obama will win the debates.

+WMUR Granite State poll of New Hampshire has the race 52 to 37 Obama and if leaners are pressed it is 54 to 39 Obama. Courtesy of the women.

+Rasmussen in New Mexico has it President Obama 51 to Romney 40.

+The Ultra scientific 7-11 poll has it President Obama 60 to Romney 40.

+So what will voter suppression efforts mean, Sam Wang fed the data in the Princeton Computers and it will mean 1% of the vote. In close races that may mean something.

+Nate Silver wrote on his blog Romney is in the fourth quarter and he is behind a touchdown and as Nate writes that is being behind greater than sports fans think. He says a poor jobs report only means a field goal for Romney.

+Cenk at the Young Turks said put a fork in Romney, he's done. Cenk ran with my point about Ohio. Romney has lost it and no Republican has ever won the White House without it and the last 10 Presidents won Ohio. By Willard.
