+GOP Focus Groups reveal that voters don't believe any of Romney attacks ads against Obama.
+The Romney campaign is readying an October surprise for President Obama blaming him for the attack on the Benghazi consulate and the assassination of the ambassador. It believes this will make Obama look like Jimmy Carter and ensure their victory. OK, if you say so. The campaign held meetings in D.C. this past week and were feeling giddy about using the attack. Remember Romney mentioned that he would not hesitate to use a foreign crisis when speaking to his rich donors.
+CNN/ORC poll has President Obama ahead 50 to 47%. But the killer findings are the swing states: 51 to 44 in Ohio, 50-45 in Florida, and 49-45 in Virginia.
+Washington Times/Zogby poll has President Obama to Romney 41.
+Nate Silver estimated that if the election were held today Romney would have a 1.9% chance of winning.
+We Ask America on Colorado Obama 49.3% to Romney 45.5%.
+We Ask America on New Mexico Obama 50.9% to Romney 40.6%.
+EPIC/MRC on Michigan: President Obama 47 to Romney 37%.
+Misc. Massachusetts poll: President Obama 60 to 32.
+Kudos to Andrew Sullivan for mentioning that Romney is likely to reintroduce torture as part of his foreign policy. His advisors are pressuring him to make it part of his agenda--the repeal of Obama's executive order banning torture.
+Romney because he is not getting traction on the economy plans to switch the debate to Obama's weakness on foreign policy with a speech after Wednesday's debate.
+To get back into the race,Romney needs a bounce of about 6 points from the first debate. He has this debate and a jobs report on Friday to make a comeback or be washed out.
