++Sam Wang says about the Senate races that there is a 95% probability that the Democrats will get 50. The Median outcome is 54 D/I to 46 Republicans. There is a 68% chance that it will be in the 53-55 range. He says North Dakota, Montana and Indiana are on the edge.
++The Obama campaign tonight claims they have 5 million small donors making it the largest grass-roots campaign in history.
++The Atlantic has a piece from Ohio which argues that Obama might actually surpass his margin of 2008. The author travelled to coal country expecting a lot of anti-Obama sentiment because of his difficulties among Appalachia but found more Obama voters among coal miners than Romney people. Most of the people the author interviewed were McCain supporters but felt that Romney only cared about the rich. The author was curious on hearing the sentiment that Romney would shut us down. Apparently, the Obama campaign had micro-targeted the coal miners with a clip of Romney talking about closing all coal-burning plants during his last campaign. It was effective because different voters knew every line Romney said.
